In the fluid expanse of artificial intelligence, where the frontiers of knowledge expand with each passing moment, claiming expertise becomes a paradox. The rapid evolution of AI, marked by daily breakthroughs and revelations, renders the notion of mastery both fleeting and elusive. This humility in the face of an ever-expanding universe of understanding resonates deeply with the sentiment of Isaac Newton, a pioneer not of digital realms but of the physical cosmos, who perceived himself as a mere child on the shore of knowledge’s vast ocean.

Please don’t call me an AI Expert. How can one be an expert in a field like AI that is developing so rapidly, and something new is presented almost daily? Furthermore, I think the term Expert is highly questionable. I feel more like Newton when I deal with AI or other Sciences: “To myself, I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me.” ~ Isaac Newton Stay Hungry & Curious — Murat Durmus

Staying hungry and curious in the face of AI’s rapid advancement is not just a personal ethos but a philosophical stance, suggesting that the path to proper understanding lies not in accumulating titles or accolades but in maintaining a sense of wonder and readiness to discover. Like Newton, who saw himself as gathering pebbles of truth while the vast ocean of the unknown lay before him, we too stand on the precipice of enormous digital oceans, our feet wet with the tide of innovation, our eyes fixed on the horizon of possibility.

In this light, the refusal to be called an AI Expert becomes a powerful affirmation of our place in the cosmos of knowledge: not as conquerors, but as explorers; not as masters, but as eternal students, forever in awe of the boundless mysteries that await our curious minds.
