The necessity of ‘weakness’ in AI systems

The necessity of incorporating ‘weaknesses’ into AI systems is a paradoxical truth. While our pursuit of AI revolves around power and efficiency, it’s imperative to acknowledge that intentionally introducing controlled weaknesses can render these systems more versatile, ethically grounded, and harmonized with human values.

Just as human vulnerability fosters empathy and interconnectedness, the ‘weaknesses’ in AI can cultivate collaboration, accountability, and conscientious decision-making. Accepting these “weaknesses” in AI could immensely encourage commitment to developing technologies that serve humanity rather than oppress it.
